viewing the simulation results with viewer in cadence

When I view the results of my simulation in cadence (Cadence version IC6.1.2.500.9), sometimes it happens that it shows the simulation result up to something like 18 ms although simulation time passed is much larger.

Do anybody knows about this phenomena?

  • There have been issues like this due to issues with the way that the "sst2" output format is handled. Try using:

    envSetVal("spectre.outputs" "simOutputFormat" 'string  "psf")

    in the CIW before starting the Analog Design Environment. You can also put this in your .cdsinit file so that it is set each time you start virtuoso.
