cadence awd.exe autoloading even after logout

I see more than one awd.exe processes running along with java processes even after I logout of the machine and with no icfb running.

I know that I am using wavescan in my ocean scripts to print the images to png, and I have run lot of ocean scripts in batch mode before. But I am not expecting this to run indefinitely. This is taking loads of CPU. Would anyone seen this issue before? if so how to remove this from starting?

Regards,
Venu Allipuram

    Venu,

It's not a matter of "removing this from starting" - you want it to start otherwise your scripts won't work. The most likely scenario is that for some reason it did not exit - and it's very hard to know why that was the case.

The good news is that in IC615 the graph is no longer java, so there's only a single process, which is "virtuoso". I think that should be better at exiting.

Probably the best thing to do for your specific circumstance is to contact Customer Support at http://support.cadence.com though.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
