Cannot run Virtuoso in 64-bit mode

 Hi, Virtuoso (IC614) runs without any errors in 32-bit mode. When I switch to 64-bit mode by adding the line

 export CDS_AUTO_64BIT=ALL

into my .bashrc and try to run Virtuoso, I receive the following error:

[alper@dirac ~]$ virtuoso
/usr/local/bin/cadence/tools/dfII/bin/64bit/virtuoso: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/bin/cadence/tools/lib/64bit/libemscpp_sh.so: undefined symbol: _ZNSt24__default_alloc_templateILb1ELi0EE12_S_free_listE

Any ideas how to resolve this error?

    if LD_LIBRARY_PATH shell variable has been set, would you please try unsettting it to see if it resolves the problem? If you execute "$CDSHOME/tools/bin/checkSysConf IC6.1.4", are there any reports of missing system patches?

    Thanks for your reply. LD_LIBRARY_PATH is not set. $CDSHOME/tools/bin/checkSysConf IC6.1.4 returns

    for your platform / OS (x86_64 / ) 

    The platform I'm running IC614 is

    [alper@dirac ~]$ uname -r
    2.6.35.11-83.fc14.x86_64

    Thanks for trying. Would you please try "$CDSHOME/tools/bin/checkSysConf -r" to see the available options and use it accordingly? While I don't think that this check will be useful but I am just trying to see if it can give a clue because I don't really have an idea of the problem right now.

    I cannot install any other IC package as I'm not the system admin. Guess the problem has something to do with libemscpp_sh.so under $CDSHOME/tools/lib/64bit. A tool called c++filt decodes low-level names into user-level names. _ZNSt24__default_alloc_templateILb1ELi0EE12_S_free_listE returns

    alper@dirac:~$ c++filt _ZNSt24__default_alloc_templateILb1ELi0EE12_S_free_listE
    std::__default_alloc_template<true, 0>::_S_free_list

    Does anyone have a clue?

    The kernel revision you have seems very high, and also the fact that checkSysConf is complaining may suggest you're using an unsupported OS version. What OS distribution are you running (e.g. what does "cat /etc/redhat-release" show).

    If it's RHEL6, that isn't supported; the plan is to add support for any new releases (not hotfix releases) which are released in 2011.
