Hi Andrew,

a previous post about pole/zero analysis (www.cadence.com/.../2643.aspx) didn't seem to go anywhere    so can i post the quetion again?  if i have a transfer function (curve based on AC sweep; gain and phase), how to extract the pole and zero out of it?  what kind source should i use, like AC=1?

thanks,

Malolo

    Hi Malolo,

Not sure why you thought the previous post didn't go anywhere - the questions were answered in accordance with the limited amount of (and indeed inconsistent) data that was provided. Anyway, the answer to your question is that you don't do this by post-processing the AC results - you use the specific "pz" analysis in spectre instead.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
