high quality plot for word

 Hi,

I need to create a document that have text and also some plots. This plots must be high resolution , vector graphics (eps, svg or similar).

I use IC5 with Spectre and wavescan to see plots.

I tried to print the plots from WaveScan--> File--> print to file , but the result is a ps format. This is not recognized correctly by MS Office 2007.

The ps plot made by Wavescan cannot be imported by OpenOffice.

The only way to see the plots is to  convert the ps file in to a PDF file (with ps2pdf command) and then to import as PDF. But I loose the vector information, and it is a nightmare to scale the plot at the correct size in the document.

Is there another way to save the plots as svg or eps format ? (or similar)

Please help me with some practical ideas.

    Hi DanySF,

Currently IC 6.1.5.xxx supports SVG format output. But I don't know what to do if I want to import it into OpenOffice or Microsoft office.
