ADE says simulation is still running after its finished

I have a problem with IC615 isr2. For some simulations ADE says they are running (in the results tab), however, looking at the output log I see that the simulations are finished. Post processing scripts are executed successfully (seen in job log). Running the same simulations with IC614 is working.

Please log a service request with Customer Support. Not sure why this should be happening.

This happened due to having dedicated scripts for plotting. Scripts containing "newWindow", "plot" etc will cause ADE in IC615 (however this works in earlier versions of IC6) to run forever. IMO having dedicated scripts for plotting are very convenient since it is easy to modify and copy to other testbenches (ADEXL views), customizing plotstyle(like setting axis properties and so on... Of course, running the scripts manually from the CIW is possible, but it is cumbersome. I wonder why this is not supported?

Is this from ADE XL or ADE L? I assume you're talking about an OCEAN Script measurement? If so, strictly this was never supported, but we really ought to make it work. Did you log a service request about this?

Yes, this is from ADEXL and an OCEAN script measurement. I logged a service request about this and got a reply where they told me that this was not supported. Do you know when/if this feature will be supported?

Can you let me know the SR number, and I'll check with R&D?

Thanks. You're who I guessed you might be, so I'm aware of you having used this methodology for some time. I've asked the AE owning your SR to file a CCR with R&D to see if we can get this fixed.

Once "refresh" is fully supported in ADE XL, this will become less important, but I still think it's valuable right now.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

JFYI, we are actually seeing the exact opposite, not sure if this is related.

ADE-XL reports corner “pwr” has completed, and has tried to analyze the results of it.  But when you right click on that corner and
“output Log”  the transcript shows simulation still running.  If you wait a while and re-click on “output log” then the simulation time has
increased – so the simulation is still running.

     Has anyone seen this behavior?
