simvision schematic cross probing

Does anyone have a solution for plotting signals into the simvision waveform window directly from the schematic editor?

I guess simvision would be acting as a server in this case and we need to send it the appropriate command - sort of (with my primitive knowledge) the way you can tell Firefox to open a URL from the xterm command line.

Any ideas would be great..

Are you using AMS Designer? If so, this is possible already. You need to enable Options->Editor->Cross Selection (Cross Selection is on the Editor Options form) - set it to "yes". If you then select nodes on the schematic they will cross-select onto the browser in simvision when running an AMS "interactive debugger" simulation.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
