simvision schematic cross probing

Does anyone have a solution for plotting signals into the simvision waveform window directly from the schematic editor?

I guess simvision would be acting as a server in this case and we need to send it the appropriate command - sort of (with my primitive knowledge) the way you can tell Firefox to open a URL from the xterm command line.

Any ideas would be great..

  • Hello Andrew, Unfortunately not - this is plain spectre. Sometimes the file sizes are so large that AWD and wavescan are just too slow. Then we turn to simvision. Of course, now the problem is the disconnect between schematic and simvision. However, if you could tell me how I can send a command through a socket or some other way, to simvision, with the net to plot, I should be able to accomplish what I need. Thanks!!
