Instantiate components problem in Virtuoso

Hi All,

I got a problem with instantiate components in schematic and layout. At first I think it's because

my cds.lib has some wrong libraries, but it seems it's not because of that. Anybody knows how

to deal with it?

 Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your comment tkhan, I try to explain it here.

The problem is I could not instanciate compents in Layout. I mean, the simulation of existed components already in the schematic and layout are ok, but I could not instanciate new components with shortcut 'i' anymore.

This problem happens after I copy a display.drf of IBM BiCMOS8hp in my own directory. Because I didn't make a specific folder for 8hp so it seems there is some collision to the old process I used which is AMI0.6. So I just delete it the display.drf of 8hp and the problem happens.

Now I've already make the specific folder for 8hp and AMI0.6. But the instanciate problem still exist for both technologies. Although there maybe some different configuration for the 8hp I have not recognize, the instanciation should be alright for AMI0.6. However, it's not. The simuation is alright.

Thus, I think there are some configuration files were changed mistakenly by me. I have googled and try to figure out it for almost four days but the problem is still there. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks!
