CDB to OA library conversion: cdb2oail error

Hi,

We are trying to port our design libraries from CDB to OA using the cdb2oa script. Our CDB libraries use the ST Microelectronics cmos065_522-2 technology library. The converted OA libraries also use the cmos065_522-2 library. When we execute cdb2oa we get the following error message in the log file
ERROR   (CDBOA-126): cdb2oail error: "exec of '/sw/cadence/ASSURA-615/tools/dfII/bin/cdb2oail' failed with exit status 127."

We are unable to find the cause of this error. Could you please guide us to diagnose the error ? What will be the consequences on the converted libraries (in OA) ?

We are using IC 6.15.

I believe you have $ASSURAHOME/tools/dfII/bin in your path - whereas it should just be $ASSURAHOME/tools/bin - there's no need for the tools/dfII/bin part.

Because of that, there's a mix up in the versions being picked - particularly because of the fact that (most likely) you have ASSURA before the IC paths.

Can you try altering your UNIX $PATH to see if that solves the problem?

    Regards,

    Andrew.
