ADE Licence Management

I am looking for a way to manage our ADE licence such that it is released once user A is done with his task and user B can grab the licence without waiting for user A to manually checkin the licence. Is there an environment variable that I can set using the envSetVal("asimenv[.partition]" "variable" 'datatype value) command format in my .cdsinit and not worry about licence sharing anymore? I understand this may slow down the ADE environment, but I can live with that.

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your prompt reply. So, unlike Spectre, I cannot use a command like envSetVal("spectre.envOpts" "controlMode" 'string "batch") for ADE? Could you please guide me how to setup the timeout parameter for the licence server? Best Regards, Yaser
