CDL resistor value different the schematic

When I netlist a CDL from Virtuoso, it evaluates the Rho and squares instead of using the Resistance that is provided in the schematic. Is there a switch somewhere to change this? The netlist value is smaller then the schematic value because the Rho/sq method doesn't take into account the space between the end of the recognition layer and the contacts which actually adds to the resistance. Thanks Rob

    Hi Rob,

Presumably you are using auCdl views and the Analog CDL flow rather than the Digital flow (i.e. you have the shell environment variable CDS_Netlisting_Mode set to Analog)? In this case the cell CDF for the resistor in question controls how this cell is output in a netlist, look in the simInfo (simulation information) section for how the cell is written out, what parameters are involved.

I hope that this helps you.

    Regards,

    Lawrence
