Netlisting parasitics as sub-circuit

We are netlisting a device and its parasitics. We don't have the parasitics in the model file. Can we netlist the parasitics as circuit elements by some manipulation of the device cdf. Thanks

As I am often pointing out, this would be easier to answer if some of the information was provided as suggested in the Forum Guidelines.

If using IC61X, we have a capability called "Parasitic Aware Design" which is available as part of ADE GXL, which allows you to define parasitics in a constraint view - so you can identify which nets you want to add some parasitics, and what values (of R, C, L etc). Then it can generate an "estimated" view which you can then simulate - keeping your schematic golden.

You could potentially alter the device CDF to add a custom netlist procedure to netlist additional parasitics. Or you could just fill in the source/drain area/perimeter - it really depends on what parasitics you are talking about. Your question was a rather "minimalist" so it's hard to give  you a detailed answer.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
