Unable to select nets to save on schematic in IC514

There are times when from ADE I select Outputs | To Be Saved | Select on Schematic ...  to select nets to save, but I am unable select the nets on the schematic.  No matter how much I zoom in or click on the net it will not be highlighted and added the Outputs windows in ADE.  What's going on?

Is there a way to add the nets to the save list manually in ADE?

Are you actually getting the prompt in the bottom of the schematic window when you're doing this? If not, it maybe because it doesn't know the association between the schematic window and the ADE session - reasons for that could be that you're simulating a config, but are looking at the plain schematic (ie not under the config); having more than one schematic open, starting ADE from that, closing it and then using a different schematic window (maybe). Try using Sessions->Schematic from ADE to get the schematic.

Otherwise maybe your selection filter settings are awry - under Edit->Select->Filter (if my memory is right).

There's no mechanism to type in the signal names - other than using the calculator to build expressions using data access functions like VT(). Or you could type in the expressions using Outputs->Setup Outputs.

    Regards,

    Andrew

I had to restart my ADE session to get the nets added to save list.  Seems like the ADE session has a bug by loosing its connection the schematic window.
