Difference between ADE and VSDE simulations

 Hi,Andrew

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I also have this trouble, when I use cadence VSDE to do corner simulation, you know combining process, process, temperature and  other variables. I found that under the same condition VSDE spectre simulation results are alwayes unconsistent with ADE spectre results, the difference is sometimes small and sometimes  obviously large .

I don't know if you have encounted this before, maybe you can  help me with this.

About this issue,I have found the root cause finally. The PDK resistor contains two diodes within itself, and these diodes caused a second and abnormal Operation Point. That's why VSDE DC simulation went wrong. I hope this experience be helpful.

    Yuanzy,

I split this into a separate topic, to keep it simpler. As described in the Forum Guidelines, tacking onto an old thread is not a good idea (especially when it's a completely separate topic).

I've not encountered your problem before. Maybe somebody else can help, or maybe you could contact Customer Support.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
