cap ground signal 'gndRefNode' cannot be found while running Assura QRC

Dear Experts, Recently we have migrated from Assura RCX to QRC and after running QRC( same way we run RCX) I am facing the following ERRORs:
#==========================================================##
Initialize CAP_GROUND variable
#==========================================================#
CAP_GROUND=`findCapGround -g gndRefNode NET`ERROR (FINDCAP-88016): cap ground signal 'gndRefNode' cannot be found.

Check if net 'gndRefNode' exists in design and has the correct ?netNameSpace (schematic, layout) specified in RSF.If the ground signal name cannot be identified, use 'capgen -cap_ground_layer' option. ERROR (LBRCXM-609): Bad return status from RCX run. 0xff00 INFO (LBRCXM-709): *****  QRC terminated abnormally  *****  Does anybody aware where from I can control that parameter and how ,or should I have made any kind of changes for migration to take effect?

Best Wishes,
Shushanik

     I am sorry for the first messy post,which is a reason of technical issues.Please find below a fixed one.

    Thanks a lot!!!!

    Dear Experts,

    CAP_GROUND=`findCapGround -g gndRefNode NET`

    ERROR (FINDCAP-88016): cap ground signal 'gndRefNode' cannot be found.

    Check if net 'gndRefNode' exists in design and has the correct ?netNameSpace (schematic, layout) specified in RSF.

    INFO (LBRCXM-709): *****  QRC terminated abnormally  *****

    Does anybody aware where from I can control that parameter and how ,

    or should I have made any kind of changes for migration to take effect?

    Thanks in Advance and Best Wishes,

    Have you specified the reference node as one that actually exists in the design?

    Andrew.

    Thank you for response, Andrew.

    Yes. I assign the correct reference node, which is VSS in my case. Only one of my block got this problem, the rest of the blocks are working fine.

    Tingsu,

    Not sure if you can log a service request with Cadence - if you're accessing the software via Europractice, you'll need to go via them.

    This may help: http://support.cadence.com/wps/mypoc/cos?uri=deeplinkmin:ViewSolution;solutionNumber=1844388

    Alternatively, go into the QRC run directory (the one which contains the file "NET" - which is in a sub directory from the ASSURA or PVS LVS run directory), and try:

    findCapGround -g name NET

    try various things for name - maybe you've got the name wrong?

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hello Andrew,

    Thank you for your help. I am so sorry that my problem is not exactly the same as shushan posted. I think what you posted is the solution for shushan. But just now, i solved my problem and the solution is given after the problem.  My problem is:

    WARNING (SCHLAY-173006): Unsuccessful translation for VSS

    CAP_GROUND=`findCapGround -gfn lay_cap_ground NET`

    findCapGround -gfn lay_cap_ground NETERROR (FINDCAP-88009): file lay_cap_ground is empty. CAP_GROUND cannot be set. Exiting.

    ERROR (LBRCXM-609): Bad return status from RCX run. 0xff00

    INFO (LBRCXM-709): *****  QRC terminated abnormally  *****

    Solution:

    I checked the LVS outputs and found the lay_cap_ground file. It is empty (It should show the VSS). What i did is to set the Name space in QRC->Extraction from Schematic Names to Layout Names. Then it works perfectly.

    Thank you very much again, Andrew.

    Best regards,

    Tingsu
