how to draw using y vs y?

 Hi all,

1)))I have for the trans analysis two signals plotted Voltage vs Time..Now i want to plot the voltage of first signal with the voltage of the second i.e.Vin vs Vout  i.e Y vs Y.

I am using IC6.1.4 version and ADE L ...I came to know tht Y vs Y plotting of signals is possible using Viva....

Let me know tht in my version do i have this .If yes then from where to exec this...In ADE L i dont find such option .

What are the steps for drawing Y vs Y after trans analysis..???

Please provide all the steps/path for the plotting of Y vs Y.

2))) Using ac analysis also it is possile to draw the Y vs Y using calulator.

Please provide me with the steps needed for doing it using calculator???

Thanks in advance!!

The eaiest way, as far as I know, is to plot the two signals together.

Then, at the bottom of of the X axis window, choose Plot vs. one of the siganl, rather than "independent variable"

If you want the expression (calculator or output) is waveVsWave().

For instance, you want to plot dc sweep VARSWEEP for nodes VY vs VX, then you can use:

    waveVsWave(?VARSWEEP v("/VX" ?result "dc") ?y v("/VY" ?result "dc"))
