Not saving nets in a block

 Hello,

due to a problem in the hierarchy I am working with, I have to simulate a design including a necessary digital block. This causes large transient files. I was wondering if there is an option to tell spectre (better aps) not to save any of the nets in the instance, say, I12 and below.

I know I could make a model for the block, but that would require time...

 Thank you!

You would need to create an include file (e.g. "save.scs" which you can then reference with the model files or simulation files UI in ADE). This would then use something like:

    save * exclude=[I1*]

See "spectre -h save" from the UNIX command line for details on the syntax. You'd then also need to turn off saving of all voltages in the UI (Save->Options) and leave it at "selected".

(note, I've not tried this myself, but I think it would work).
