Curve fitting ADE/Skill

 Hello,

i have plotted an output expression (an arbitrary curve). Now i want to approximate this curve with an polynomial 3rd or 4th order within a specific range. I will use then the polynomial coefficients for further simulations. So, i need something similar like the polyfit function in Matlab. I know, i could use the Spectre/Matlab Toolbox to do this, but i want the results (coefficients) within ADE XL. In addition, we have problems with calling matlab-scripts within ADE XL ouptus pane. Does there exist such a function in ADE XL/GXL? Or, any ideas how to solve that problem?

Thanks!

There's no built-in function to do this - you could write one potentially. Alternatively use the matlab script measurements. I suggest that you might be best logging a service request with Customer Support for this.

    Andrew.
