How can cadence virtuoso automatically load a cdf file?

Hi everyone! I am a newbie in the forum. I have a question with editing cdf. Since there's a problem with the bulk node connection of the nmos instance in the base layer, I need to change it myself and save it in a file. But not every time I can remember to load the cdf file, so sometimes there could be some problems with the simulation. So my question is: is there any way that virtuoso could load the cdf automatically? Or if there's any other way to load the corrected cdf information automatically. Thanks so much!

I'm not sure why you would need to "load the cdf file". If you edit the Base CDF, it is written to disk, so you would not need to edit it each time.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Thanks for the replay Andrew. I was able to get the admin privilege to edit the base layer, but on a second thought, I think this may not be a good idea that it may affect other tools. The thing is I am working with IC6. The bulk node of the three terminal nmos connects to 'gnd!' using default cdf, but the source connects to '0' when netlist is generated. So bulk and source are not connected to the same voltage while I want them to. Is there any other way to address this issue? Like letting the source node connect to 'gnd!' when generating a netlist? Thanks again!

Not really enough detail to go on, so I'd recommend contact Customer Support. (especially as my bandwidth to respond over the next week is quite limited)

    Andrew.
