UMC 65nm Corner Simulation with ADEXL

Hi all,

We just installed UMC 65nm Libs via Europractice within our environment and I'm facing some problems with the model files

corner simulation setup in ADEXL (tried with 6.1.3 and 6.1.5).

My problem is that the input.scs files for all corners get messed up include entries e.g.:

include "/progs/cad-lib/UMC/UMC/L65/../Models/Spectre/l65ll_v141.lib.scs" section=\"ff_ll_hvt12\"

Once I clean the section part to section=ff_ll_hvt12 it works off course but that's not how the corner

setup should work ;) I tried both, the model files and the model group, approaches, unfortunalty I

could not get clean input.scs files :(

So I'm wondering how and why I get \" sequences in the section part and I would appreciate any piece of advice.

Best Regards

Andi

    Andi,

My guess is that they have provided an "sdb" file (which is an XML file defining the corner setup) which has something erroneous in it. The best approach would be to contact Europractice Technical Support for help (I hope that's the right link - I went to http://www.europractice.com and followed the links).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew

Thanks for your fast and helpful answer, as usual :)

Even if your answer didn't point right onto the problem it showed me the right direction.

There seems to be some problem with the main model file. If I create Modelfiles or Modelgroups via

the Import from Tests function and if I use all of the Modellines that are loaded I get the problem.

I  limited the Modelfiles/Modelgroups entries only to the relevant ones and I don't get messed up

input files. Works like a charm now. Maybe I'll dig in a bit deeper if I get around to it to find the entry

    thats causing the problem ...

    Thanks again

    Best Regards
