Disable/reset modifiedCounter in IC61

Hi,

IC61 version: 6.1.5.500.6

Does somebody knows how to copy cellview into existed cellview without changing modifiedCounter of the target cell?

dbDisableCellViewCounter() doesn't work in this case.

Does anybodi knows how to reset modifiedCounter?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciable.

Thanks,

Eduard Raines

    Eduard,

I'm fairly certain this isn't possible, but you could ask customer support to check.

    One possible approach might be:

    1. Open destination cellview in append mode.
    2. Disable the counter
    3. Loop over everything (shapes, nets, terms etc - I'm guessing this is a symbol you're worrying about)
    4. Create an instance of the cellView you're trying to copy
    5 dbFlattenInst the new instance.

Bit messy, but might just work...
