spectre, user defined unction, use probe as argument

Hi!

I would like to use user-defined functions, e.g.

real mySum(real a, real b){return a+b;}

I am able to use this function, if using real  values, but if I use probes, e.g.

save  v(idout\<1\>)

simulator lang=spice

.param sumOfSig ='mySum(v(idout\<1\>),v(idout<0>))'

.probe tran

then save works (signal is there), but the function evaluation fails with:

Error found by spectre during transient analysis.. during task MDLControl.

ERROR: Unknown parameter name idout<0> found in expressino

Any idea?

Thanks and bes regards

    Blaz,

    I don't think this is possible, since you can't have a parameter which is a function of a measured voltage. You can use the bsource component to do this kind of voltage dependency, so maybe that's what  you want?

    Perhaps you should log a service request with Customer Support to cover this in more detail.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
