Ocean script formatting question

Hi, I'm trying to format my simulation plots generated from an ocean script and I find myself limited in knowledge. For instance I'd like to automatically show the date and time in the title, as well as set a special color/font/fontsize to make some titles and subtitles stand out more. I've gone around the ocean script book and can't find anything but I'm sure there something in SKILL for that. Can someone take me through this and/or send me an example of how to do such thing? Thank you. - Patrice

    Hi Patrice,

There is the SKILL command "getCurrentTime()" which will return a string that has the date and time in it, e.g. "Jan  6 11:35:58 2012". I'm not sure if there is a way to make graph titles stand out more.  Are you using addTitle() and addSubwindowTitle() OCEAN commands?  I don't see any options for font settings for these commands.  Other font settings are more at the session level and would affect everything.

    Hope this helps.

    Lawrence.

Hi Lawrence, Thanks for the tip on the date/time, I'll try it out. For the titles and subtitles I am using the addTitle() and addSubwindowTitle() OCEAN commands as you mentioned and there's no parameter to change font, color or size and I was hoping that some SKILL function could be used. I guess not then. - Patrice
