issues with abstract generator

Dear all,

I'm closing my mised signal design: The analog layout was designed with Virtuoso in Cadence IC61, and now I have to import it in encounter for place and route altogether with the digital modules.

I read the documentation and as far as i understood recent cadence releases allow to generate an abstract which can be "shared"  by cadence tools. I tried to run the abstract generator in library mode (it's weird that i can run it only in this mode, cellview mode is not allowed) but i can't figure it out whether what i've done is correct or not. When i try to pen the abstract view with virtuoso the module is covered by a blue layer. In the setup option I also set pin cutouts, as i was expecting in this way to see opens around the pins.

Finally, i opened encounter an I tried to import the generated abstract view  (correct or not) but i have no idea of how to do it.

Kind regards

Gian Nicola
