No parameters in Cdl netlist.

 Hello. I try to design my own design library. I create PCell, copy symbol view from analogLib and than
add my parameters to CDF and add parameters in auCdl interface. After that I copied symbol view to auCdl. But after extraction in netlist resisistor
is like black box (without extraction parameters, in netlist present only nets).
Than I try to write in CIW following commands:
lmOpenLib("PRIMLIB")

lmDefViewProp(rpp auCdl
hnlCDLParamList = "hnlCDLResistorParamList"
hnlCDLFormatInst = "hnlCDLPrintResistorElement()"
hnlCDLElementSubType = "r"
)

But it hasn't effect, in netlist only nets.

Help me please, what I need to do.

  • Those properties are for cdl not auCdl netlisting (i.e. the "Digital" netlisting flow rather than the "Analog" netlisting flow). auCdl uses information in the auCdl simInfo section in the CDF for the cell to govern how the component is formatted.

    If you search in cdnshelp for "auCdl CDF" you should find in the "Virtuoso Analog Design Environment L User Guide" an Appendix on auCdl netlisting which has a section "CDF Simulation Information for auCdl" amongst a lot of other information. To get to this directly in PDF it's at <ICinstDir>/doc/anasimhelp/anasimhelp.pdf
