IC6.15: Create sub-circuits directly from schematic?

Hello everybody,

is it possible to generate"sub-circuits" directly from the schematic editor? Like it is known from Matlab ("Create Subsystem")

For illustration: You have to built up a complete sensor readout system. At first you start with some ideal models directly plugged into the top-schematic. Then you are going to refine the circuit part by part the circuits size increases. And you would like to move some parts into a subcircuit. Up on now I know only one way: create a new schematic, copy the relevant parts into i, generate a symbol and plug it into the top schematic. The way I would like to take is to select the appropriate blocks in the top-schematic and directly generate a sub-circuit.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Markus

    Markus,

There's no built-in command to "push" (similar to layout's "Make Cell" command) wires and blocks into a sub-schematic and automatically build a symbol. You should contact Customer Support and request such an enhancement.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
