Converting hierarchical probes for specific configuration

I'm looking for automated solution for the next problem. I would like to convert a probe found for ideal hierarchal schematic representations to be suitable for netlist delivered for specific configuration of Hierarchy Editor that can include schematic and well as estimated and extracted views. The netlist is going to be simulated by in Spectre.

For instance, I have probe

1.   1. /xxx/yyy/zzz/ttt:d

If cell of instance "yyy" is replaced by its estimated view, the save settings in Spectre simulator can be (depend on the syntax rules)

2.   2. xxx.yyy\|zzz\|ttt:drn

Does it exists any automated way to convert 1 to 2? Of course, I do not mentioning replacing by scripts "." to "\|" etc.

Additional clarification:

I can't use ADE-XL for that purpose because usually I get hundreds of such probes. ADE spend hours to load them up to the GUI, and I'm not going to open waveforms manually anyway

    Vitaly,

Please log this as a service request at Cadence Online Support.. That will be the best way to look into this - it may need some detailed investigation of your flow, and seeing whether we can take advantage of the "out of context probing" capabilities with parasitic re-simulation.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
