Corner Analysis with IC6.1.3 and AMS HIT-Kit v4.00

I am getting a strange error when running a corner analysis using the AMS script defined button on the Command Interpreter Window (HIT-Kit Utilities -> Simulation Utilities -> Corner Analysis).

The first time I do this it works fine, but when I run a simulation and try to change the process corner and update the ADE with it, I get an error.

Basically, I am having trouble with the sequence of SKILL commands:

AMS_allCornersForm->cornerListBox->value= '( "corner4 85 3 wz " )
AMS_setCornerInADE(hiGetCurrentForm())

The first time this is successful, but after I run a simulation it's never successful again.

I keep getting the error message:

"Error* The default SKILL generic function has not been defined for the function "asiEnvGetVar". Ensure that this function is called with the correct argument(s) (tool partition name)."

Do you know why this is?

I've been trying to find a work-around by using the corner analysis tool in ADE XL, but I keep getting an error about the redefinition of models.

"Error found by spectre during circuit read-in.
ERROR (SFE-3): "/usr/local/cds-een/cadence/ams/spectre/c35/cmos53.scs"

spectre terminated prematurely due to fatal error."

I presume this must be due to some model setup issue as ADE L runs without any errors with the same model file. Do you know how this can be fixed? I believe it must be some simple change in the settings.

    Your best bet is probably to contact austriamicrosystems about this as it's rather specific to their PDK.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Just in case anybody has the same problem, the resolution is to use the HIT-Kit utilities menu to define corners and save a DCF file, which then can be loaded in ADE XL.
