off grid polygons in Virtuoso

Hi All,

I'm a long time Mentor ICStation user who is now using Virtuoso part time.

I have a question regarding fixing some off grid polygons in my layout.  In Mentor, I could easily select the polygon and snap it to grid.  I can't seem to find a similar way of doing this in Virtuoso.  Could someone who is wiser than I in the tool tell me how to do this?

Thanks,

Darin Bell

    Hi Darin

There is a fix offgrid function in Virtuoso Toolbox (Tools->Toolbox) but since invoking toolbox requires some setup and we don't recommend using the toolbox anymore, it is perhaps better that you can use either of the following skillscript solutions from COS:

1800103 : SKILL: How to put a selected offgrid shape on a specified grid?
11727116 : How to fix offgrid issues in a layout cellview hierarchically?

    Best regards
    Quek
