Label Patterns in LE

Hello Cadence Forum!

Can you please help me to get some patterns I can use for labeling in layout. I have following cases:

1)  Need number step of placing the, 1-32, step 2, e.g

A<1>  A<3>  A<5>  A<7> A<9> ........................

2)

A<0> B<0> C<0> D<0> E<0>   

A<1> B<1> C<1> D<1> E<1>

A<2> B<2> C<2> D<2> E<2>

......................................................................... 

I was not able to find pattern manual. Currently we use simple A<0:31> but it doesn't help. too complicated and mirrored layout

    Hi Aram,

    If you are using IC615 (you didn't say), you'd use a pattern of A<1:31:2>.

    The syntax is quite easy to find in the documentation by hitting the Help button at the bottom of the Create Label form. 

    If you're not using IC615, it would be best (as stated in the Forum Guidelines) to state the version you're using (Help->About in the Command Interpreter or Layout window will tell you).
