    Hi,

These are CDF properties that are being controlled by the CDF property paramLabelSet, for example for an analogLib nmos it is set to "-model l w" (without the quotes) by default, which means that it will display just the model name (since 'model' was preceded by a - ), and then l={value} and w={value}.  This can be set on the cell, or the library.  Also this can be controlled using Edit -> Component Display (this is the IC5141 menu, which it looks like you are using?) and also from ADE when annotating simulation results such as operating points. The latter two methods can affect the whole schematic at once, whereas if you were to modify the cell CDF or library CDF, the changes would only affect that component or all components from that library.  To modify the CDF you can use Tools -> CDF -> Edit from the CIW menus.  If you cannot modify the Base (this is permanent, stored on disk) due to access permissions, you can modify or create 'User' CDF which overlays/overrides the Base level CDF.

    Hope this helps.

    regards,

    Lawrence.

    Hi Lawrence,

I have similar needs, which I would like to not display some of the cdsParam label on the instance in schematic.  I understand that the annotation can be toggled in Annotation Setup form.  Is there SKILL API that can perform the same?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Giang,

Please don't ask duplicate questions (and also don't post on the end of old threads - this one is 8 years old). The Forum Guidelines (pinned post at the top of each forum) explain this.

So this will be answered via your new and separate post: https://community.cadence.com/cadence_technology_forums/f/custom-ic-skill/42559/skill-api-to-toggle-display-of-cdsparam-label-on-instance-in-schematic
