Saving Cadence simulation data for later use

Hello,

I am running a simulation on a circuit containing a feedback loop. It takes a long time just to converge to a steady state. Is there a way to save the converged state and load it later to start a transient simulation from that state? For example, if the circuit converges after 100ns, can I save the state of the circuit at that point, and for future simulations, load that state so that I don't have to go through the initial converging that takes 100ns? Thanks you very much.

    Wonyoung,

The transient analysis has a few options to control this - from "spectre -h tran" :

    State-file parameters
    ...
21      saveperiod        Save the tran analysis periodically on the simulation time.
22      saveclock (s)     Save the tran analysis periodically on the wall clock time. Default is 1800s
for spectre. The feature is disabled in turbo mode by default.
23      savetime=[...]    Save the analysis states into files on the specified time points.
24      savefile          Save the analysis states into the specified file.
25      recover           Specify the file to be restored.

These options can be found on the Options form on the tran analysis in ADE.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
