How to use ipwlf source

Jithin
Jithin over 13 years ago

Hi,

I'm designing a circuit in spectre. So I need to use 'ipwlf' current source .But instead of one field for specifying the

path of the pwl file, it had many fields .So please help me in this situation by telling how to use the ipwlf source in spectre.

And also is it necessary for filling all the fields in it.

Thanks in advance.

with regards,

Jithin

    Jithin,

You only need to fill in the filename (PWL file name). The other fields (e.g. AC magnitude and phase) are for when you're doign AC simulation, similarly for PAC magnitude and phase. There's some additional fields to add noise (for the purposes of the noise analyses) and some other factors to alter the scaling of the currents - but none of these are compulsory. Reading the documentation on analogLib should help you out in such circumstances.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
