Noise Analysis

Hi,

What does CDF parameters

1. noise file name

2. number of noise/frequency pairs in the properties of source indicates and

how does the value for each be given when noise analysis is done.Please quote

with an example if my square wave running at a frequency of 450MHz and having a supply voltage of 3.3V.

    Jithin,

    CDF parameters on what? I'm presuming you're talking about one of the independent sources in analogLib? e.g. vsource, isource, vdc, etc? Please clarify.

    Probably you can get the answer to your question by looking in the Analog Library Reference manual in the documentation, or by using "spectre -h vsource" or "spectre -h isource" at the UNIX prompt (or looking in the Spectre Reference manual in the simulator documentation).

    Knowing what you should set them to (if at all) is rather dependent on what you're trying to model.
