List of Message IDs from Xstream

Hi,

We have just started using the Xstream for doing gds out of designs from the cadence 6 databases. One Major diferrence for us between pipo and stream is that the Xstream is very forgiving compared to PIPO, for example if a cell reference was missing PIPO woud fail whereas Xstream completes by producing a warning message. Since gdsout is a critical part of the tapeout flow, we want ot prevent xstream from creating bad stream files (with missing references etc). We are using  WarnToErr options in the xtream to accomplish this.

My question is where can I find a list of all the possible Message Ids that can be generated by Xstream. I plan go over the list of those warnings and make the Message Ids that matter to us as errors.

Thanks in advance.

    Jameel,

Please contact customer support. In IC5141 there used to be an appendix with the message IDs from pipo, but there's no similar appendix now in the Design Data Translators Guide - so you should request that one be added.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
