getting rid of little informational text on mpps

 Our group just started using 6.1.5

 One pesky change that I've noticed is that whenever one is digitizing a multi-part path, a small text icon thingy 'MPP' shows up near the cursor.

Any idea how to turn this off?

    Actually the little icon is there for all commands, e.g. a little box when creating a rectangle.  I cannot find anything in the docs or  what's new about this.  Please help, it's driving me crazy!

    Hi Lin,

    In short the contextual cursor is somewhat fixed and there is no single option to disable it for all the various editing commands.  However, there does exist a SKILL based workaround, the essence of which is to reset the cursor during the EnterFunction, something like this:

    hiSetEFunCursor(hiGetCurrentWindow() 1)

    This would have to be called after the command has started though; using a timer is one approach.

    I noticed that you have a Service Request open so I have passed on more detailed information to the AE , I hope it helps. Ultimately you should request an enhancement (this is not the first time this has been requested), the more folks who ask, the more likely it might be to be implemented.

    Best regards,

    Lawrence.
