Hello,

After IC6.15 installation (under RHEL5) attempt to run virtuoso failed.

Here is error message:

bin/ksh: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

I tried to find ksh package, but yum found nothing.

Where is a problem ?

Thanks in advance.

Pavel.

    Hi Pavel

It simply means that you need to install ksh package. You can use the following cmd to do a more complete check on your system:

    terminal>$CDSHOME/tools/bin/checkSysConf IC6.1.5

     Hi Quek,

Thanks for response. You were right - syscheck confirmed abscence of the ksh package. Here is output:

Configuration checks failed, status is: FAIL

This system does not have the correct packages to run IC6.1.5

But when I try to install ksh, system tell me that there is no such package:

    [root@localhost IC615]# yum install ksh
    Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security
    Setting up Install Process
    No package ksh available.
    Nothing to do

    Regards.

    Hi pyohayo

Perhaps you can try searching for ksh rpm packages on the Internet. : )

    Best regards
    Quek

Hi Quek, can you please detail how the problem was resolved? I have the same exact problem with the same exact outputs as you showed in post#1, I have yum installed ksh and openmotif, but am unable to find "compat-readline434.3" . Googling for compat-readline, I see that there is such a thing as "yum install compat-readline" but that command shows there is no such package as compat-readline for me. What did you do to resolve the compat-readline issue? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Xiaoxi

"yum" is the package installer on linux and it requires a repository in order to work. E.g. you will be able to use it if you have a redhat account. If you are using Centos, you can use the following package:

    Best regards
