Virtuoso Schematic Editor - can't insert instance

Hello,

I've just installed IC615 and try to check its functionnality.

1. In Library Manager I created new library TEST_LIB

2. In TEST_LIB I created the cell test_cell1 with cellview schematic

3. In opened Viruoso Schematic Editor L I try to add a new instance - from one of standart libraries (basic, functional, etc.), doing Create/Instance. But none window appears. Moreover - window New File (where I specified cell properties) remains opened and doesn't disappear when I click on OK or Cancel.

Where is a problem.

P.S. I wanted to attach an image file that demonstrates the problem, but it seems that there is no such possibility ... only from URL, but how to use it if my image is somwhere in filesystem, but not on URL.

You can attach pictures by going onto the Options tab when posting, and can then add attachments.

Were there any messages in the CIW when the problem occurred?

Which subversion of IC615 are you using (Help->About will tell you this).

When I click Help->About nothing happens.

Maybe you should try posting your CDS.log file that should be in your home directory.
There should be more stuff there...

I closed everything and rerun virtuoso. The problem disappeared.
