Undo pcell

Once I've launched Pcell in cadence virtuoso and I save, my layout gets recognized as pcell. Is there any way to go back to the "normal" layout, so I can use edit in place again?

Open the layout cellView in question, and do three things:
In File->Properties (the Edit CellView Properties - often on shift-Q) go to the property page, and select the viewSubType property, and hit Delete.
In the CIW, type dbUndefineProc(geGetEditCellView())
Save the cellView
That should fix it.
