out-of-context probing

We're having problems saving a netlist during post-layout simulation.   For this simulation we are using a config view that is pointed to an extracted view.  In ADE, when we try and save a net by selecting it on the schematic we are seeing

INFO: (PARA-306) Simulation out-of-context probing cannot map the schematic net: A specified by net name. This could be because the schematic net is hierarchical and has no valid extracted equivalent, the extracted view is incomplete, or LVS has failed.

This is the first time I've had ADE complain when just trying to select a net to save (pre or post layout).   Is there some sort of cross-reference file we are missing?  When we look at the netlist created by the extracted view there are references to this node.

 Thanks

Please log a service request. I'm not sure what might be causing this.
