probing nets in Virtuoso Schematic isn't recognized in Simvision

Hello,

Before running simulation I probe nets in Virtusoso Schematic (key 9), hoping that these net will be recognized by Simvision.

But after launching NC-verilog, compiling/netlisting and than launching Simvision I always see the following message in Simvision console

ncsim: *E,PRNONE: No new objects to probe in scope test.

So I need once more select the nets in the Simvision Browser.

Where I've been mistaken ?

Thanks in advance.

Pavel.

    Pavel,

Are you simulating from ADE (AMS Designer), or from the NC Verilog Integration (Launch->Simulation->NC Verilog)? Which version are you using?

Either way, you probably just want to go to Options->Editor in the schematic and turn on Cross Selection. If you do that, then when you select a node or instance in the schematic, it will also select in simVision (for both AMS Designer and NC Verilog Integration. It's not when you probe, but when you select.

With AMS Designer, if you select signals to be plotted in ADE, they will automatically be probed in SimVision.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
