Is it possible to convert layout.oa/sch.oa database format to text

Hi,

I'm trying to understand if it is possible to convert sch.oa/layout.oa database information into ASCII ?

It was possible to convert GDS file into ASCII with help of "Design Data Translator Reference" manual. Is something similar exists to layout.oa/sch.oa ?

Thanks,

Ram

    Hi Ram

For oa schematic, you can consider converting them to edif200 format. For layout, perhaps "oa->gds->ascii" might be fine for you? Would  you please let us know more about your objective?

    Best regards
    Quek
