Different Monte Carlo Models

Hi,

I am using Cadence 6.15 and see four different types of Monte Carlo models:

1. Local

2. Global

3. Local + Global

4. mcminmax

Would appreciate if somebody could give an idea what these models entail?

    Hi Gaurav,

Those names are probably nothing to do with the tool, but what they've been called for the specific foundry PDK you're using. You should consult the documentation for the models/PDK for more details, or if it's not there, contact the PDK provider (the foundry?).

It's nothing to do with IC615 per se.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
