BJT Montecarlo Simulation

Hi,

Recently, I am desiging a bandgap reference circuit, which uses BJTs, as expected. I designed it and fabricated it. The measurement shows lot of variations compared to the simulation results. So I decided to run the montecarlo simulations and to see if the device mismatches affecting it so much?

My question here is, do foundaries give the montecarlo models for the BJTs ??? because i am missing these models for BJTS in my model library.

Amit,
Of course, it depends on the foundry. In general they would though - so you should contact the foundry to find out if they can provide a statistical model for the BJTs.
