Shape pin is not enough for LVS using Calibre?

Hi,

I finished one layout and added shape pins with names. But this can not pass LVS using Calibre.

I additionally added metal-texts, and LVS passed.

So, shape pins with names only are not enough for LVS using Calibre?

Thanks.

Somebody on this forum may be able to answer, but this is probably a question better asked on a Mentor Graphics forum since Calibre is a Mentor tool.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

I assume that your Calibre LVS flow is
doing a Layout in GDSII vs.  a Schematic in CDL format.
Then the GDSII has to have labels over the desired interconnect
pin locations as GDSII don’t know anything about Cadence,
    whatever CDB/OA database, shape pins.

On which layer this labels have to be you better figure out from your
    design manual.
