using sim temperature in OCEAN

Josef

 Hi *,

I desperatelly try to use the set system temperature in my OCEAN calculations.

typing: temp(), i get the value but not as a number but as, e.g. "25" .. and this cannot be used in mathematical calculations.

is there another temerature related variable that provides the system temperature in a numerically, or do I neet to convert the format?

but how?

thanx in advance and kind regards

Josef

    Josef,

    Post-simulation, if the output format was PSF or PSFXL (not SST2), then you could use resultParam("temp" ?result 'tran) to find the temperature actually used in the transient run, for example. Otherwise you could just use atof(temp()).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
