Layout XL - point to point routing

Hi all,

I've notice a few issues while using the create wire tool to route nets with connectivity.

  • The net line or flyline showing where to connect is neither following my route or going away once a route is done.
  • I cannot select an individual net or flyline to see where it's going in among all my other flylines.
This is creating an issue.  Using iRoute in Mentor Graphics ICStation, the flylines would follow along as my route moved towards it's destination and went away completely once the route was completed.  Can someone please tell me how to make this work?  It seems to me that when a connection has been made, the net lines should go away.

     Darin,

that sounds odd. The Flightlines in VLS XL should go away when the routing is done. Are you using Layout XL?

Perhaps it would be best to contact customer support and have somebody talk you through this?

    Regards,

    Andrew.
