functional error

I am currently using a config file of a test bench to set all views to functional in order to test the logic. Upon compilation, all instances of a flip-flop produce an error:

The cell view 'xxxx/xxxx/functional' has been modified since last extraction. Re-extract the design (file->check and save option menu) for  schematic cell to correct this error.

I have tried to open the schematic and functional to check and save but this does not help. The simulation runs fine when the flip-flop is set to schematic in the config file.

*The flip-flop functional also depends on two primitive cells that have to be refenced to in the config file by adding their library to library list, just for reference.

If anyone can shed some light on my situation. That would be super! Thanks.

You shouldn't need to "check" a functional view (I'm assuming it's text) provided that it hasn't been edited outside of Virtuoso.

I suggest you contact customer support so that we can look at your data to find out what is wrong with it (or the tools).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
