how do I turn off short markers

A new "feature" of xl is dynamically created short markers.  These happen whenever you move a line and xl thinks there might be a tiny chance that a short may be created such as a metal5 going over a metal2 line.

It's obvious what I think of this new feature.  It would be great if it actually worked but since it doesn't

How do I turn off the markers?  Note that these are NOT the object markers whose visibility is sometimes controlled by the layer palette or LSW.

    Hi Andrew,

Yes, very odd.  I'm on release 1.6.5 ISR13.

I checked the DRD edit settings and everything is off.  Markers show up while I'm editting and then disappear after I've completed the command.

I was hoping there was an environment setting somewhere that I could get to to disable them.

    tks,
